Samantha Fickel 

Samantha Fickel is a Canadian artist who completed an MFA in Art and Technology at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2016) and holds a BFA in Sculpture from OCAD University (2014). Using time-based, interactive, and immersive installations, she seeks to deconstruct familiar technologies in ways which invite unexpected sensory experiences. She has exhibited both domestically and internationally including the flagship exhibition of Vector Festival’s 5th Year Anniversary in Toronto and her solo exhibition Interspace at Stuart & Co Gallery, Chicago. She is currently an artist in residence at the Niagara Falls Exchange Artist Studios.
